5.1  Colours

The main colour terms in Kymna are:

• achva ’red’ (√kwa)
• mutma ’black’
• hengva ’blue’
• mousta ’green’

They can be compounded with hima ’thin’ to derive the lighter variants. Curiously, yellow is regarded as light green:

• himachva ’pink’
• himutma ’grey’
• himengva ’light blue’
• himousta ’yellow’
